About Wine Splits
Wine Splits started the same way most good nights do:
with a bottle of wine and friends around the table.
What began as a personal tradition of hosting themed wine tastings for friends eventually became Wine Splits — a guided wine tasting experience designed to make hosting feel easier, more beautiful, and a lot more fun.
The story
For years, Wine Splits existed unofficially.
For over a decade, I've been making my friends come over for themed wine tastings.
Sometimes we'd compare wines from different regions. Sometimes we'd focus on one grape. Sometimes the theme was simply “things we want to drink on a patio in July.”
I'd spend hours researching wines, building tasting sheets, creating little scorecards, writing notes, and figuring out how to make the night feel thoughtful without feeling intimidating.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something: people weren't just showing up for the wine.
They loved having a reason to gather.
They loved learning something new without feeling like they were in a classroom.
They loved that the night felt intentional, structured, and easy to host.
That's the idea behind Wine Splits.
